This Country House has the beauty of everything as you are in the Countryside but only 10 mins drive down to the Coast, 10 mins either way to the centre of Fuengirola or La Cala de Mijas and less then 30 mins to the centre of Marbella or Malaga Airport.
This Cortijo has the authentic Andalucian style, painted white with terracota roof tiles. The electric gates open to the drive way with it's white pebble stones and you will find plenty of space for parking. Enter into the house through to the big wooden front door which I believe was recovered from an Old Hotel in Malaga. Step through this beautiful door to the hallway again terracota coloured floors and high wooden beamed ceilings. From the entrance hall you can go upstairs to the masterbedroom, straight into the sitting /dining/ room , on the right hand side you have the kitchen and on the left a large bedroom ensuite , there is also a cloakroom here for guests to use. Upstairs you have one large bedroom, ensuite and with a terrace that has panoramica views over the garden and countryside and you can even see down to the sea.. Walk from the hall into the large sitting room with it's big firplace and this leads on the left to a room which you can use as a study, office, reading room or even a little t.v. room, to the right into a proper dining room that also again leads to your big family country kitchen. But back to the sitting room now for a minute and this leads out to a covered terrace and on to your well groomed lawn, ideal for a game of croquet follwed by a pims by the pool. Those of you who are into gardening the lawn has Bermuda grass. To the left of the lawn you will find the relaxing pool and chillout area. On a lower level behind the pool who will find the secret vegetable garden.
Back into the house now again and from the Hall you can go straight through to the large big family kitchen where you can cook the fresh vegetables picked straight from your secret garden. The kitchen is designed in a way that is perfect for informal dining with family or close friends , also off the kitchen there is a nice "Al Fresco" dining area. There are several areas through the house designated for dining this way you can enjoy the outdoor "Al Fesco" be it in the summer or winter, sun or shade, breakfast, lunch or dinner everything is catered for to avoid the mid-day sun or enjoy the balmy nights which are enjoyed in these parts of the World part of "Costa del Sol Living"
Off the kitchen another little surprise as from you can go into the 2 bedroom Guest Apartment, this also has in fact another direct entrance from outside if you wanted to close it off from the main house. The apartment has two bedrooms, bathroom and an open plan Kitchen/sitting room and again also leads out to another one of the outdoor dining terrazas". The owners use this as their BBQ area and it also has another lawn with a spectacular mountain as the backdrop.
The Cortijo has 10,000m2 of land so you actually have plenty of room if you would like to use it for maybe growing Avocados, Mangos, Olives or even have a little Moscatel Vineyard so you can make your own Olive Oil and Wine.
This charming Country House is ideal to either live in all year around or use as a holiday home. You have the peace and tranquility of living in the Countryside yet are so close to all amenities.
